Her very first Oreo cookie was a huge success! lol
These are basic vanilla cupcakes again, a teaspoon of fruit liquor poured over while just out of the oven so still hot enough to soak it all in.
The topping is whipped cream with a teaspoon of liquor again and approx 1oz of fruit - doesnt matter what you use, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries etc.....its all part of your 5 a day!! ;)
Finish with white chocolate sprinkles and devour before the kids get their hands on them! lol
The cake is a basic vanilla sponge with a little lime rind added before baking and a drop of lime juice poured over while still hot. The topping is half butter cream, half cream cheese and the juice and rind of 1 lime.
The topping is quite soft and easy to pipe but does harden up after an hour or so so leave out to harden before packing away in cake tins :)
I am in love with the Bo Bunny Gabrielle and Time Piece papers and stickers! OH BE STILL MY HEART!! Butterflies, clocks, inky, creams, brown and so much more - what else does a girl need!!
I then set to work on making some embellishments, cutting out bits of the papers from the Gabrielle range including this gorgeous huge butterfly,
the clocks and keyhole are from the Timeless range, crumpling them and inking as i went.
Cutting stickers and fastening bows, taking apart old jewellry and filling the little vial with goodies too...
Gathering up all the little bits I wanted to add to the project was part of the fun, I popped them all to one side until i finished layering the papers and voile.

The little butterflies are from a Stampin Up punch. I punched 4 for each butterfly, (9 whole butterflies in total = 36 punched butterflies) then I folded the butterflies in half and backed one set of wings onto another with glossy accents so that when all 4 are joined it stands up by itself...does that make sense?
..You should have seen the girls eyes light up when i produced a megabag of buttons for them to play with!! lol
how cool is that and absolutely adorable at the wall to the head of his bed!
I know i probably shouldnt as it has scantily clad girlies on there and what with me having boys of impressionable ages etc but hey they wear less when we go to the beach or outdoors in the summer (and its certainly not like the Sam Fox pics boys use to put up when I was younger!!) LOL
The photograph was taken by Kirsty Wiseman at the last Creative HeART & Soul retreat in May (hence no journalling on the layout as it was made up to show the girls how to use their photographs and since we had no idea what kind of photographs were going to be taken I couldnt do the journalling - make sense?) lol
I love these little rolls of paper, such a tension release to sit and make!
Hands in the air and a squeal to burst eardrums she runs like mad until she crashes into something - i dont think shes perfected her stop button yet!! LOL
Still, shes happy until she misses her mark and crashes to the floor - at which point we all have to make it look like she did it on purpose and make all the appropriate cooing noises and go 'oopsy' to which she laughs and starts again! lol
