P.S. My favourite thing to make as presents are themed packages. For example, for my sister I made a package with all ingredients for making cupcakes as well as special decorations and a themed cook book on the subject.

My favourite thing to make/bake is your/mine lemon drizzle cake! I was honest and did admit that I took it as my own! ;)

ReplyDeletethere's quite a few things I like to make as presents; biscuits presented in decorated jars are always a winner, and I like to make 'hearts', button hearts, fabric hearts, vine hearts, any kind really!

ReplyDeleteI've often made presents in the past, usually due to a shortage of money and this has included a wide range from sewing dressing gowns and skirts to making homemade jam and sweeties. in terms of easy to make its got to be anything baked, which is so much quicker by comparison.

ReplyDeleteI Love Making pamper hampers, i pick up bargains throughout the year, then package them up, all pretty and add cellophane and a big bow, they are all gratefully received as we all need pampering now and then x
ReplyDeleteI love to put together hampers and make them look pretty. So much cheaper than buying a hamper and you can make it much more personal.
ReplyDeleteI like to make peppermint creams and present them nicely in tissue paper lined boxes tied up with ribbon.
ReplyDeleteIf Ihave more time on my hands (which is rare!) I like to make cross stitch gifts ... mainly framed cross stitch pictures, coasters and cushions.
I make gift bskets of homemade soaps and candles etc. :)

I'm a jill of all trades, I love baking and enjoy giving biscuits and fudge as present. I'm also a bee keeper, so a jar of local honey is always a treat. Not too mention my sewing, Christmas stockings go down well as presents this time of the year
