So far at school this last week we have had an English Cafe, an Italian Cafe, Sports day and the summer fair. Next week is just as busy with trips and projects and shortly after that the boys break up for their summer holidays! Yayy!! (ok im saying yayy now but im sure at some point i will be checking off the days before they go back!) LOL
I got this fabby necklace from Avon of all places - i think it was only around £4.99 or something but i thought it was cute! It was only when i put it on i remembered my word for 2010!! BELIEVE!! I love it even more now! lol
I cant resist showing this pic, how cute is this teeny girl! This is her cosy up on the sofa - shes a real little doll and loves to be snuggled in properly before she goes to sleep! :)

Yesterday i spent the day at my mums, me and youngest sister turning up unexpectedly which was lovely :) My jaw ached from laughing so much and im so pleased we got to put the roof down on the car on the way home - im still brushing knots out of my hair though!! LOL

Angel Cake with Yogurt and Honey Sauce *week 25*

Its taken a while but here it is finally - the step by step for Angel cake with yogurt and honey sauce. Only problem is no one likes it - oh well, you win some you lose some!! LOL

Shopping list is here

Gather all your ingredients.
Place the egg whites, salt and cream of tartar in a mixer.
Mix on medium power until frothy.
Add the vanilla extract, lemon juice, and lemon zest. Beat on high speed until soft peaks form, about 2 to 4 minutes.
Gradually add the sugar and beat until the mixture forms stiff peaks, about 2 minutes longer.
Sprinkle the flour over the egg white mixture. Using a spatula, carefully fold in the flour until incorporated.
Spoon the batter into an ungreased 10-inch nonstick angel food cake pan. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes until the top is browned and a skewer inserted halfway between the inner and outer wall of the pan comes out clean.
Invert the pan on a wire rack to cool completely, about 1 hour.
For the sauce: In a small bowl whisk together the yogurt, honey, and lemon juice until smooth.
Using a spatula, loosen the cake around the sides and middle. Release the cake and place on a serving plate.
Cut into slices and drizzle with the sauce.
(or find out that no one likes the cake anyway and drizzle the sauce over the whole lot to make a cool picture!) lol

Im going to give myself a little shout out here if thats ok....one of my layouts was featured in the second issue of Scrapbook Inspirations. This was the layout that i won my position on the Bo Bunny design team with (as well as the album and card too) BY THE WAY Have you seen that Bo Bunny have announced their design team call!! Go for it!! They are a fantastic company to work for and i have thoroughly enjoyed this past year!

I know im 2 recipes behind now but heres a quickie salad to keep you going while i get to grips with whats going to happen here....its absolutely manic but i still want to continue the 52 recipes so im trying to work something out where by it may all be done in just one days post each week instead of Mondays and Wednesdays....

This quicky comes from Heidi who is the lovely lady whos store i taught at in Amsterdam, she made this salad and we all begged her for the recipe (she gave me permission to put it on my blog too!) :) Thanks Heidi!! :)

Fry a pack of bacon lardons and allow to cool.
Wash and dice 3 heads of broccoli into small bite size pieces.
Drain the broccoli, empty into a large bowl and add one large pack of cranberries or raisins and one small red onion finely diced.
Mix together 1 cup of mayonaise, 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of white vinegar (i used cider vinegar) and pour over the top of your salad mix.
Once the bacon lardons have cooled down add those to the mix and again stir well. Ideally leave in the fridge over night so that the dressing has a chance to soak into the broccoli. Serve and enjoy :)
