Creative flow!!

My creative flow is well and truly full steam ahead right now! I am wanting to scrapbook, make cards, bake, embellish tshirts, make goodies for the house...the list is endless and unless i make a start on something soon i think im going to go crazy! Here is one of my layouts I designed for the class on Saturday....You should have seen the girls eyes light up when i produced a megabag of buttons for them to play with!! lol

Im in the middle of decorating Jake & Bens room - we are putting a divider wall down the middle and Jake chose my absolute favourite paper of the moment! Birds of a Feather - from B&Q how cool is that and absolutely adorable at the wall to the head of his bed!

Ben, being 15, chose the manga wallpaper for one wall on his side - I LOVE IT! I know i probably shouldnt as it has scantily clad girlies on there and what with me having boys of impressionable ages etc but hey they wear less when we go to the beach or outdoors in the summer (and its certainly not like the Sam Fox pics boys use to put up when I was younger!!) LOL

Fabulous Day....

This layouts isnt about a perfect person, far from it, its about a perfect weekend spent with friends doing what we all enjoy - making things!! The photograph was taken by Kirsty Wiseman at the last Creative HeART & Soul retreat in May (hence no journalling on the layout as it was made up to show the girls how to use their photographs and since we had no idea what kind of photographs were going to be taken I couldnt do the journalling - make sense?) lol I love these little rolls of paper, such a tension release to sit and make!
The layout has since been filled in with little snippits of how the weekend went and some things that people said that made my heart swell and my eyes get a little misty *ok i sobbed when i got a chance to read the lovely tags all the girls had made to thank me for a fab weekend - not to mention the gorgeous flowers I got too!!*


*thank you all so much for your encouragement in the last post - sometimes i need a gentle shove and others i need a hefty kick in the patootie* This time though all i felt was kindness and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. xxx

I miss blogging!!

There you go ive said it - its out there in the ether and i dont know if anyone is listening but i miss blogging....

I miss talking to someone as if they are listening...

I miss telling you about what ive made....

I miss creating things and hoping you like them....

Most of all I miss the friendships i made along the way - its about time i made some Time for you again.....

Will you have me back???

She runs!!!

Yes, little princess has taken to running everywhere!! Hands in the air and a squeal to burst eardrums she runs like mad until she crashes into something - i dont think shes perfected her stop button yet!! LOLStill, shes happy until she misses her mark and crashes to the floor - at which point we all have to make it look like she did it on purpose and make all the appropriate cooing noises and go 'oopsy' to which she laughs and starts again! lol
