Plain to Pastels...

I love this time of year with all the new flowers starting to bloom (ok ignore the snow outside for now and set the spring picture with me...)

Pretty flowers deserve a pretty setting and what could bring the shabby chic feeling together more than some pastel vases! Simple and east to make!

I bought these vases to use during displays for the candy bars etc and have a few spare so thought I would spruce them up this morning. (Available from Ikea - 50p or so)Pour a little paint into the vase and swirl around until the inside is completely covered.Empty any excess paint back into the pot and save for another project (....thrifting!)Allow to dry overnight (i didnt and now have a couple of marks in the paint) and then add ready to bloom daffs! :)Pretty!

  3. What a brilliant idea, I thought you had painted spots on them too but then I realised they were dimples in the glass!
