Catching up :)

A fabulous new inspiration blog has gone live tonight - Chicken Soup - visual therapy for poorly mojos! (how could i refuse something called Chicken Soup when i love all the books!!) LOL Based on taking inspiration from adverts, posters and lots more - check it out and join in :)

This weeks Crafters Companion challenge sketch is live on the blog now - go check it out for a chance to win lots of goodies :) This is my take on Leanns fabulous sketch.

Im going to give myself a little shout out here if thats ok....one of my layouts was featured in the second issue of Scrapbook Inspirations. This was the layout that i won my position on the Bo Bunny design team with (as well as the album and card too) BY THE WAY Have you seen that Bo Bunny have announced their design team call!! Go for it!! They are a fantastic company to work for and i have thoroughly enjoyed this past year!

I know im 2 recipes behind now but heres a quickie salad to keep you going while i get to grips with whats going to happen here....its absolutely manic but i still want to continue the 52 recipes so im trying to work something out where by it may all be done in just one days post each week instead of Mondays and Wednesdays....

This quicky comes from Heidi who is the lovely lady whos store i taught at in Amsterdam, she made this salad and we all begged her for the recipe (she gave me permission to put it on my blog too!) :) Thanks Heidi!! :)

Fry a pack of bacon lardons and allow to cool.
Wash and dice 3 heads of broccoli into small bite size pieces.
Drain the broccoli, empty into a large bowl and add one large pack of cranberries or raisins and one small red onion finely diced.
Mix together 1 cup of mayonaise, 1/4 cup of sugar and 1/4 cup of white vinegar (i used cider vinegar) and pour over the top of your salad mix.
Once the bacon lardons have cooled down add those to the mix and again stir well. Ideally leave in the fridge over night so that the dressing has a chance to soak into the broccoli. Serve and enjoy :)
