It did make me realise though there are only a few more bits i need, so today im off to get the last few bits. I will add some stocking fillers and then theres just the sweets to get and the hampers to make up and wrap......Can i really be finished Christmas shopping mid November!! EEK!!
Oh and before i go, does anyone else have to have these at Christmas time........
They are gorgeous soft gingerbread hearts filled with apricot and smothered in dark chocolate - best thing is they are from Lidl and only 99p for a big bag! must add Amaretti biscuits, brazil nuts and marshmallows to my shopping list!Have a lovely weekend, im heading off now to Starbucks for my second Gingerbread Latte of 2009 (and probably third, fourth and maybe fifth over the weekend!) ......is it ok to be as excited as i was with the first...... ;)
MMmmmm I am off to see my parents this weekend and I have Lidl on my list of things to do whilst I'm there as there are always so many tasty christmas goodies for sale...shame I don't like apricot!!
ReplyDeletegood for you! I'm right behind you on the shopping, just haven't wrapped mine. I keep mine in big plasic tubs in my closet, ones you can't see through. I usually have stuff piled on top, so I don't think they've discovered them yet! :)

ReplyDeleteYes it's fine to get excited about having your 2nd, 3rd, 4th or 5th Starbuck's gingerbread lattes, I get excited no matter how many I've had, definately my fav Christmas drink!
Those little chocolate hearts look delish! So does that Rocky road, I'll have to have a go at making some, I'm sure mine won't look as good as yours tho! Umm, my mouth is watering now!
Good on you for getting your shopping and wrapping done, I'm feeling a bit behind, so hoping to get a move on this weekend! think I'll have to just stop my Starbucks to take the weight off though! lol.

ReplyDeleteI shall be wrapping pressies at the weekend all being well...I like to do it so I can see how much more I need to get...all boys sorted apart from my nearly 12 year old (bloody birthday next week too!!!) he is impossible to buy for!!!
