Happy New Year and 2009 recap...

Happy New Year everyone - to all my friends old and new this year has been so good im smiling from ear to ear!! :D I really think 2010 is going to be even better and i wish you all the best for the coming year too :)

Im going to make a start on a new crochet project - a baby blanket! I need to go wool shopping and plan on making it all pastel colours and wavy lines if i can grasp the concept - see Do you mind if i knit blog for details (she is awesome and a real inspiration when it comes to handling that crochet hook!)

Heres a little recap of a couple of my high points from the last year...

I was accepted onto the Bo Bunny Design Team...I made the final 10 in Gallery Idol 2009...I learned how to crochet...I got back into the swing of scrapbooking and realised i love it more than ever...
I also plan on much more baking, decorating and scrapbooking this coming year so im even working out a meal planner, decorating journal and project diary! Oh yes i have list OCD!! LOL

  5. Hi Debbie,
I'm so glad that you've had a fantastic year and i know next year will be even better, I wish you and your family every happiness for 2010.
And SNAP - my wonderful nan is going to teach me to crochet a little blanket for my little babe [Fingers crossed this goes well as i cant have baby freezing cold as it's blanket has holes in it - He He]
I think i'd also like to learn to knit - Harry keeps telling me that all proper mum's can knit so why cant i???? - Good question Harry.
Anyhow - Have a great evening and good luck with 2010.
Lots of love and cuddles - Ju xxxx

  6. Have a wonderful 2010, how can it not be with the new bub on the horizon. Love your blog, its always first on my list to check out. Good luck with the ripple crochet - once its mastered its real easy to do. I got hooked on round ripples which ended up as stars. Do not, understand do not check out amigurumi patterns - they are so addictive and so good for using up little balls of yarn. You are going to go have a look for them aren't you - Crochetpatterncentral has excellent links for patterns. Just don't blame me when you have a house full of strange creatures.

    Hugs

  8. Well, Lajoni that certainly made me smile. I'll never be able to look at a ripple again without a giggle.
