Handmade Acrylic Napkin Rings!

I started out making clear bookmarks as an altered project for P K Glitz but low and behold arylic melts under heat - did you know that??!! LOL Yep i knew that too but my mushy brain didnt realise it at the time! Oh yes im that dangerous right now! LOL

I stamped with the Abundant Blossom stamps from My Stamp Box and covered the ink with Powder Keg Vanilla Embossing powder. I heated this up and once it started to bend i moulded it around the pencil tube (remember the brown one from the poundstore a few posts back?) but anything rounded would do. Hold it in place around the tube and blow cold air onto it to help secure it into shape. Punch a hole with your cropodile through both layers at the back and secure with a brad.Voila napkin rings that an be tailored to any occassion and any theme!! Imagine having your own little set of pirate/princess/sentiment napkin rings :)

Remember you only have until tomorrow noon to get your name in the draw for the Banana Frog stamp giveaway - check a couple of posts down and pop your name down via Mister Linky :)

  4. I made napkin rings like those year before last. You can use the brad to fasten feathers to your napkin rings too! xx
