Good intentions n' all that!

I went food shopping yesterday and picked up the ingredients for the next 3 weeks recipes, my plan was to make them today and pre schedule so that they were up and ready for the next few weeks.........no worries eh?! Erm well yep, concidering ive slept most of today nothing has been done and this is the result of my culinary actions........I am so ashamed!! LOL I fed the kids pot noodles and you would have thought they were getting a meal for a king. Dont get me wrong, the kids eat rubbish like any other kids but when it comes to actual meals its always at least something resembling food! LOL I think they have had pot noodles maybe 3 times in their lives and they see it as a huge treat - i dont know if thats sad or if im doing right by that! LOL

Anyways, im off to breathe through some more pains and hope i can actually get some sleep tonight (the last 3 have been a nightmare!) and these pains are gradually getting worse! Ive never seen dh and the kids so excited to see me in pain but whether i can continue on like this for another 2 weeks is beyond me!! EEK!!

Bless you, hope you sleep a bit better tonight. It all seem very exciting in your house at the moment.
Bet the boys loved you tonight. I remember going wild for those when I was a kid.
Take care hun, thinking of you.

I remember that so well! The lack of sleep, the pains, the guilt about giving the kids pot noodle! lol. I hope you get some sleep tonight. Have you tried a warm bath? that used to ease mine a little. i'd fall asleep in the bath granted, but sleep is sleep wherever you have it!

Oh my - you definitely need to take care of yourself. I had to chuckle (sorry) about your family enjoying seeing you in pain. Also - your boys loving the pot noodles - I think you are doing a very good job ;)

I think I've had pot noodles about three times in my life too - I always though they were such a huge treat as well so quit being ashamed :P You are definitely doing it right!

Oh you poor thing! Pot noodles are just fine as is breakfast cereal for dinner. Truely you should be making the most of this time. Is the baby likely to come early?

Ahh, two more weeks! Your pregnancy sure goes fast from over here! :) I hope you are able to get some rest (and don't worry about the kids...they can always survive on PB&J if they must!)!

PMSL!!

You poor thing - not only is the baby beating you up from the inside you're beating yourself up on the outside about feeding the kids pot noodles!!! Your post did make me laugh though - with all your lovely foodie things you put on here it makes me feel less inadequate to know you don't rustle up a 5 star tea every night, lol!!

Sleep well tonight hun.

Hugs,

Grief Debbie - definitely don't feel guilty! Kids love junk food, especially if they don't get it very often. Just say its a special treat ;o) Have a comfortable night and lots of cat naps between to keep you going.

So these pains? Does that mean you have started? Good luck! And I LOVE pot noodles, but I can't remember the last time I ever ate one. Might have to order some with my shopping this week!
