and a car blanket - i wanted something that wasnt going to get dirty quite so quick so went for parchment instead of cream or white. 
The dusky pink is a lot prettier IRL but the photo was taken at night so it has a yellowy haze! Those blank pearled squares are going to hold crochet flowers so will be competely covered :)Whats on your needles right now??
An update on Jakes eye, he woke this morning with it half swollen shut but its easing a little as the day goes on.
Not so sore but hurts as its starting to pull when its healing! He got to have today off school and a sticky toffee donut so its not all bad though :)
ooooh that looks so sore. my son once said (at a similar age) after a similar injury on his arm that 'it looks like bacon'...I couldn't help thinking wnat an excellent description!
